FantasyPros is best known for pooling many experts' projections and rankings into a single "expert consensus." That consensus is convenient, but it can also obscure exactly where a number comes from. DraftScout takes the opposite approach: every pick is built from live data via the Sleeper public API, labeled with a freshness timestamp, and when a projection isn't out yet the app says so rather than inventing a number.

The honest-data difference
FantasyPros' core value is aggregation — averaging many expert opinions into one number you can trust. DraftScout's core value is transparency. A DraftScout pick shows its work: the live rank, why it fits your roster, your scoring format's effect, and an honest reason line. If the data can't support a number, the app shows a dash instead of a fake projection.
Pricing is the other clear split. DraftScout is pay-once per season — Pro $19.99, Everything $29.99, and a $39.99 League Season Pass that covers an entire league. FantasyPros runs on a recurring subscription. If you'd rather pay a flat seasonal fee without ongoing lock-in, DraftScout's model is the simpler one.
Honest caveat: DraftScout doesn't sync with your league platform yet, so it's a second opinion you draft alongside rather than a league-management tool. And we're not claiming FantasyPros is wrong — only that DraftScout's sourcing is visible on every card.
